Translations

This page configures AI-backed translation for the Translations application. When enabled, you can use an AI provider to translate entries instead of or in addition to other methods, e.g., "Translate with Google".

• Activate AI as Translation Provider: Enables or disables the use of an AI provider for translating entries in the Translations application.

• AI Provider: Selects which AI provider is used for translations. Default uses the globally configured default provider. You can instead select a specific provider, e.g., GPT, for this feature.

• Extra instructions for the AI: Optional text sent to the AI when performing translations. Use this to give context, tone, or terminology guidelines, e.g., formal vs. informal or domain-specific terms.
