The Munich company "Schmidt's LOGIN GmbH" (https://www.loginventory.de) has developed a powerful and inexpensive tool "LOGINventory". From the i-net HelpDesk a browser window is opened by clicking on a button and a preset URL is opened. As a parameter, any column name from the i-net table "tblUser" can be passed to this URL, usually this will be the placeholder <%Computername%>.

Other column names are: LastName, FirstName, Phone, Email, Room, Department, CostCenter, Free1, Free2, Free3, Free4 and Free5.

LOGINventory starts in the browser, immediately focusing on the computer of the i-net HelpDesk ticket. This will immediately display all inventory data for this machine.

Note: The checkboxes under "Required rights" are usually NOT set. They offer the possibility in special cases to make the add-on available not to all supporters, but only to a restricted group, e.g. only to all supporters who also have the right "Inventory - read".

From an existing ticket, the computer name is passed as a parameter to the enteo Management Portal in a second browser. In addition, the focus is set to the tab "Computer Details". This immediately displays all inventory data for this machine.

In the Knowledge Base module, a button could be set up to immediately display Microsoft's support site with a mouse click after an unsuccessful search in the i-net HelpDesk.
