UserGeraeteMapping

Devices cannot be "ownerless" in i-net HelpDesk. For example, you can set up a "dummy user" for the customer "i-net software" ("z_devices-inetsoftware"). This "dummy user" has the entry "inetsoftware" in the field "Location/Customer" in his user master data. All devices of the customer "inetsoftware" are assigned to the user "z_devices-inetsoftware". If now a new request comes from "Meier, i-net software", then all devices of "i-net software" are listed on the tab. Meier" does not have individual devices (default tab "Devices" is empty).

Transfer parameter Parameter1;Parameter2

The following fields can be used as parameters

  • Table tblUser: Last name, first name, phone, email, room, computer name, department, cost center and the 5 free fields (Free1 to Free5)
  • Table tblEquipmentInventory: Device name, computer name, user name, serial number, system number, room, cost center, invoice number as well as the 5 free fields (GerFeld1 to GerFeld5)
  • Special case Location/Customer: The field Location/Customer can also be linked, but only as a "pair" with itself (GebID;GebID).
    • Reason: You select from a list of terms (location or company name), but internally the conversion to an ID is done.

Example for possible transfer parameter

Syntax in the Transfer parameter field: GebID;GebID.

In the case of a request from "Customer ABC, Müller", which has the entry "Customer ABC" in the "Location/Customer" field, all devices with "Location/Customer" are listed as "Customer ABC" on the "Central Devices" tab. I.e. for "Customer ABC" one creates a "Device user" (e.g. "Customer ABC, Devices"). No matter who opens a ticket from "Customer ABC", you will always see all devices for this customer on the "Central devices" tab.
