Apply Quick-Ticket

An action to apply a Quick-Ticket on a given ticket. The ticket will then be updated with the settings and editing steps defined by the Quick-Ticket. The following Parameters can be set:

  • Ticket ID: the ID of a ticket to apply the Quick-Ticket on. The ID should be set using the placeholder provided by a trigger or series.
  • Quick-Ticket: the definition to apply on the ticket. The ticket will then be updated with the settings and editing steps of the Quick-Ticket

Note: The difference to the Create From Quick-Ticket is, that the Quick-Ticket does not create a new ticket, but carries out the action on an existing one.

Example

Quick-Tickets can be used when standard processes are to be carried out. The Apply Quick-Ticket action allows to apply this standard process to an existing ticket.

Example: With a new ticket to the resource Network Administrator, a Quick-Ticket Check Hardware is applied. This Quick-Ticket contains the steps for an initial check of the hardware.
