Profiles

A Comparison Profile contains parameters and settings for the comparison of documents. The standard installation of INETAPP includes several different Comparison Profiles. More profiles can be added by additional plugins.

All standard Comparison Profiles are initially active and can be used in the comparison interface. Profiles can be marked activated or deactivated using the checkbox in front of the profile names.

Users of the comparison interface must have at least one standard or published profile available to run comparisons.

Additional profiles can be created in the comparison interface. A good starting point is to duplicate a standard profile using the "Duplicate" entry from the "Actions" dropdown list at the bottom of the Edit Configuration page. In the duplicated (user defined) comparison profile users can enable, disable and configure custom filters. An XML file can be imported to overwrite this duplicated comparison profile by choosing "Import" in the "Actions" drop down.

User defined profile can be published to other users if the required administrative permission ("Server Administration") was granted.
