This parser can be used to compare text documents. It supports text files with ending .TXT and .LOG. To correctly display non-ASCII characters the files have to be encoded in UTF-8 format.
Since the textual content has to be rendered in pages there are various options to modify the page layout.
Defines the width and height of the rendered pages.
Defines the margin between edges of the page and the text content.
This category contains the settings to layout the text content.
Font Size - Defines the size of the font to be used when rendering the text. This value is in PT as in most word processing applications. One PT is roughly 1.33 pixels although the exact size depends on the actual font.
Tab width - Specifies the size of the tabulator character in a multitude of space characters. By default a tab is 4 spaces wide.
Line distance - Sets the additional vertical distance for text lines in pixels.
