RPT export produces an i-net Designer report file from the current Ad Hoc report. The resulting .rpt file can be used like any report created in the Designer: it can be opened, edited, and run as a full report with the same layout and data as the Ad Hoc report at the time of export. There is no export settings dialog for this format.

When you select the RPT format, the following option is available in the export dialog:

• "The export for the Designer (*.rpt file) can optionally embed the required data from the data source for support purposes." When this option is enabled, the .rpt file contains the report data at the time of export, so the report can be viewed or printed offline without a live data source. When the option is disabled, the file contains only the layout and can be run later against a data source.
